Xilla is a DJ, writer and researcher with roots in Italy, the UK and the US.

As co-founder of the UK based DJ trio GUYZ and an active member of the SISU collective, Xilla nurtures collaborative and community-driven approaches to music making, sharing and nightlife with a commitment to supporting the work of gender marginalised artists and collectively run spaces.

Xilla combines the UK’s bass-heavy sound with dynamic drumbeats and percussive rhythms, bringing the maverick rave energy they love experiencing on the dance floor to their own sets. Since forming GUYZ in 2019 they have played at venues and festival across the UK and in Europe, and have stacked up radio guest appearances on Threads, Kindred, New Scenery, Radio Vilnius and Foundation FM. They hold a monthly residency on Aaja radio with GUYZ and were a Miami Community Radio Resident for season 4.
