Space Baby

Every revolution needs a soundtrack and it’s Space Baby’s mission to provide it. Born and raised in Utrecht and residing in South Florida, his rap music combines the grit of the 90s and the “anything goes” approach of the 2020s. His musical themes reflect both the struggles of the masses and the optimism that a better world is always possible.

Space Baby fell in love with hip-hop over the course of a hot summer night when his older brother blasted Dr. Dre’s 2001 in the room across from his. The sleep deprivation was worth it; he had never heard anything like this before. He picked up a mic at thirteen years old and has never put it down since. After moving to the United States he started to get involved in anti-capitalist organizing.

His current mission is to combine politics and music. He is the founder of the anti-capitalist art collective Art For The People. His music has been featured on revolutionary podcasts like Politics in Command and progressive youtube channels like Philosophy Tube.
